Barry Hood, a junior at Jefferson High School throws Thurston High School's David Carter in their 160-pound quarterfinal match at the State Wrestling Championships in Salem on Feb. 17, 2006. Hood, the second seed in the tournament, beat unseeded Carter by pinning him at 4:14. He went as far as the championship match before falling 10-4 to top seed Keegan Davis of Sprague.
