All alone: Winter Hawks goalie Kurtis Mucha stands in the spotlight during the national anthem before a game against the Tri-City Americans on Mar. 10, 2006. A rookie, Mucha became the Hawks' regular goalie at the end of the 2005-06 season when an injury sidelined Dustin Butler for the last 21 games of the regular season. Mucha posted a (11-3-0-3) record in his last 17 starts.
