JJ Hones of Southridge High School puts up a jumpshot against Ashland in the semifinal round at the 4A state championship tournament at the University of Portland. JJ was one of the leaders on a star-studded team. The defending champions, Southridge had not lost to an Oregon team in the last two years. They won this game 63-38 to advance to the finals. Hones will be playing for Stanford this year.
